Fire
away!
The
team traveled to Edinburgh today (Sunday 10th
May) for a pre-season scrimmage with the Wolves,
and a chance to wear their new away jerseys
for the first time. The two teams, who have
a very good working relationship, had a joint
practice session rounding of with a team scrimmage.
Despite
only traveling with 7 players, the Fire defense
held strong all day, not allowing any points
conceded, whilst on Offense rookie Wide receiver
Cammy Bernard scored the opening TD, which was
complimented when seasoned Fullback Martyn Paterson
added another 6 with his touch down.

10
pin bowling competition fund raiser
Members
from the Forth
Valley Fusion youth team joined
us in a joint fundraiser on Wednesday night
to raise funds to help with the increasing
travel costs involved in playing away games.
Over 40 members all had a good night and raised
money at the same time and we'd like to thank
Graham Campbell and his team at Bowlplex for
making us welcome and allowing us the opportunity
to use their excellent complex.
The
staff would like to thank all the players
who came along and the generous people who
sponsored them, and congratulate them on raising
funds for the teams. Details of the total
amount raised will be posted when the final
total is counted, and scores from the sponsored
10 pin bowling competition can be found in
the news page.
